Privacy wall
Community profile is public. Professional profile stays employer-scoped and only if you opt in. Foundation-only benefits data never leaves EDC. Design enforced at the database level, not just the UI.
For organizations
Employers, universities, sponsors, and partners have their own pages here.
Approved organizations post opportunities, host events, offer mentorship, and support chapters. Every organization page fits inside the Foundation’s visual system. No corporate takeover of the UI.
People connect with people. Organizations are followed, not friended. Recruiter access is controlled by member consent, EDC approval, and privacy settings. Never bought. A $100,000 sponsor has exactly as much power over chapter voting as a $0 sponsor: none.
EDC Membership
Formal belonging. Deeper participation.
Ranks participation is free for anyone with an invite. EDC Membership is a formal $35/yr commitment reserved for veterans, active-duty, Guard, Reserve, spouses, and military dependents. The community the Foundation exists to serve.
Members unlock chapter voting, chapter leadership eligibility, Assembly registration, priority event access, partner benefits, and a digital Member Card with QR credential. Chapter Officers receive membership at $0 while actively serving.
EDC helps the military community. Membership unlocks deeper participation in the organization. Essential help, crisis resources, and Guides stay publicly accessible.
Your identity, your control
You decide what carries where.
Your Ranks profile is separate from what admin sees, from your volunteer roster row, from a corporate sponsor invite. Photo + bio default to shared so a single edit updates everywhere. Override per surface when it matters.
Sensitive fields stay Foundation-only: VA disability, discharge, benefits usage, service-member linkage for spouses and dependents. Employers never see them. Sponsors never see them. The Foundation only uses them to make your recommendations better.
Every recommendation shows whyyou’re seeing it. Every underlying signal is editable. Nothing is a black box.
